The tool for managing and editing user permissions / ACLs.
Never before has permission maintenance been this simple.
What is rACLet.net and what can it do for you?

rACLet.net - Rapid „Access Control List“ Examination Tool.
rACLet.net is a utility to help you efficiently review, edit and maintain the access control lists (ACLs) on your Windows(TM) file servers containing a NTFS(TM) file system. You can track changes in an ACL by scanning its current state and comparing it with any ACL-Scan which you‘ve previously scanned and saved.
rACLet.net was designed with emphasis on reducing the amount of data of your NTFS(TM) permissions / ACLs to a manageable level and to display it in a way that is clear and easy to navigate. The amount of manual data analysis of the NTFS permissions is considerably reduced and greatly simplified.
• Quickly edit NTFS permissions and add or delete Users (ACE's). Cut, copy and paste functionality for ACE's and ACLs.
• Recursive inheritance for NTFS permissions of all files in a directory and its subdirectories.
• Assign new ownership to orphaned directories within an NTFS file system.
• Select from up to eight predefined static filters on your permissions or create any number of your own dynamic filters, which can be used in combination with the static filters, without having to rescan.
• For clarity and ease of use, the search function allows elements that do not contain the search string to be hidden from view.
• Compare your current NTFS permission (ACL) structure on your Windows(TM) machine with any previous structure to easily spot changes.
• You can choose to scan only certain directories as well as specify the number of directory levels below the selected directories where the scan should take place. This reduces scan times and data file sizes.
• You can freely select which NTFS permissions to display or hide without having to run a new scan. All permissions can be displayed or hidden, not just the basic four.
• Dynamic color highlighting assists you in quickly identifying any inconsistencies or errors in the NTFS permissions structure.
• An easy to use scripting support feature harnesses Windows‘(TM) own AT functionality to allow the scheduling of automated scans at a specified time.
• ACL-Scans can be exported in CSV format and then edited in the spreadsheet application of your choice.
