Today we are happy to introduce version 1.1.92 of our permission control system rACLet.net. This version incorporates the following new features:
- performance of group resolving increased
- display basic permissions like in windows security dialog added
- now displaying the domain the group or user was found
- bug corrected: when resizing the window to minimum the program does not terminate any longer
- reduction of flicker while scrolling or resizing reduced
- deleting unresolvable ACEs within the complete scan possible
- feature extended: inheritance: leave added ACEs untouched and do not inherit to an ACL which does not contain inherited ACEs (both optional)
- Redo last scan feature added
- Menu for changing scroll speed of mouse wheel added
- Context menu added
- inherit flags are now shown as clickable checks
- string search within broken down groups added

Today, on 25.07.2011 a new version of rACLet.net is released. In addition to Version 1.1.78 beta, the following changes where made in the new version:
- bug fix: extreme long paths made rACLet.net crash.
- bug fix: forgotten length check in reading directories recursively implemented
- permission "SYNCHRONIZE" added to the list of displayed permissions
- bug fix: permission "SYNCHRONIZE" taken into account within inheritance feature
- the user may now select whether to use only one level in the "break down groups"-feature or to scan the groups recursively
- bug fix: If the cancel button in "Add ACE" was pressed, the ACL of the selected file was deleted
- bug fix: the limitation of the line which contains the broken down groups is now corrected
- checking of max. string length of resolved groups added
- bug fix: reading group members of default domain controller now possible
- modifieing an ACL which is loaded by the "open"-function is now prohibited to protect the ACL of the file system
- "heartbeat" window added for long lasting processes
- Menu entry of dynamic filters is now checked if dynamic filters are used
- default size of error report window changed
- bug fix: when scanning a directory with file->new scan, the entered depth was not taken into account

- temporary disabled inheritance
- preparation of re-including inheritance: A auxiliary ACE is added to prevent from loosing the permissions to change the ACL during changing the ACE. After inheritance is completed, the help ACE is deleted again
